FundApps offers a Pre-Trade service for investment managers who monitor shareholding disclosure regulations or exchange-imposed derivative limits on an intraday basis. The service helps assess whether new positions or potential transactions may breach regulatory thresholds or trigger disclosure requirements. Using the same regulatory rules as FundApps' post-trade checks, the service ensures consistency across pre- and post-trade compliance. It is available as an add-on to existing Shareholding Disclosure and Position Limits subscriptions and can be accessed via an API.
Please note that the same additional subscriptions needed for the end-of-day service will be required to use the Pre-Trade capability.
FundApps also offers a Shareholding Disclosure Pre-Trade UI, which allows users to check if a trade or scenario pre-execution exceeded an SD threshold during a trading day. Currently, the service covers checks for the asset classes Equity and ADR as long as the instrument is included in the user's most recent positions file.
Additionally, Bloomberg Data Adapter clients can also perform checks for the asset classes Equity and ADR for brand new positions, since the service can enrich the order checks with the required data via the Adapter connection.
