The allotment of shares will usually be in the same company. In case of Redemption Rights has NO subscription price. Redemption Rights are a tax efficient form of Buyback. Redemption Rights are created as a Rights issue and not Bonus because the shareholder has the Right not to accept the security but get cash directly. Has the impact of increasing the shares in issue figure in the market and can also change the number of shares held in treasury by the company.
